Another fantastic release, my friends, with a bit of everything; stamp and die sets, of course, but also amazing stencils.

For my layout today, I have decided to use the gorgeous Hibiscus Garden 3D Die Set. This might be my new favorite of the layered die sets; it is very detailed and allows for colorful combinations.

I started by picking bright, summery colors to go with the tropical feel of the set. I used patterned paper from the Enchanting Washes Paper Pack, as well as plain cardstock in coordinating colors, for the flowers. I assembled them all before continuing on with my design.

To prepare the background, I adhered strips of Red Ombre Washi Tape where the flowers would go – I like that you can see it here and there, picking through the clusters of hibiscus.

Foam dots were used to adhere everything down and give not only dimension, but also a more natural look to the images.

For the photo, I decided to keep it simple with just a plain white border. I tucked it under the flowers and repeated the washi tape element by placing a thin strip behind its right side.

Last but not least, the title. I combined the Brush Alpha Die Set with the Mega Happy Die to bring in some variety. I love how colorful it is! Again, I used papers from the Enchanting Washes Paper Pack and cardstock that coordinated with all the other colors on the page. Enamel dots finished the layout.

Now onto the prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 1/31/2019 for a chance to win. 6 winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 2/3/2019.

Your next stop is Olga‘s blog. Happy hopping!

It was one of my Great Aunt’s favorite flowers. She drew a picture of one on the last birthday note she sent to me. Fond memories! Thanks for the inspiration!
