I’m always excited about Altenew releases; the sets are not only beautiful, but very versatile and great for a wide variety of projects. You’ll see amazing examples throughout the hop.

The layout I’m sharing today features two new stamp sets and coordinating dies: Botanical Silhouettes and Frilled Petals.

 

Like always, I started stamping my images onto smooth white cardstock. I used several shades of pink, yellow and coral for the Frilled Petals, while for the Botanical Silhouettes I went with light shades of pink – since I was going to use these as layering pieces, I just wanted them to be subtle but still noticeable.

I adhered the die cut pieces in a diagonal on a beautiful patterned paper from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection, using foam dots for dimension. I arranged flowers, leaves, and the Botanical Silhouettes to form one big cluster. I also added leaves from the Rose Filament Die Set, and foliage from the Envelope Liner Die Set.

I then matted the photo with more patterned paper from the collection, embellishing around it with stickers and wooden buttons.

Black splatters in the lower portion of the page added the final touch.
