Altenew – Build-A-Flower: Peruvian Lily

Hello friends! I am back today to share a project created with the new Build-A-Flower: Peruvian Lily set.

This set, which includes 1 6×8 stamp set (14 stamp images) and 1 coordinating die set (2 dies), offers a realistic and incredibly detailed Peruvian lily, designed to be stamped in contrasting or coordinating colors. A lovely leaf and painted sentiment finish off the set. The Peruvian Lily, also known as Alstroemeria, blooms in a variety of colors and is native to South America. Some petals are flecked with darker shades, resulting in a distinctive and beautiful look. You may stamp these flowers in any Altenew ink colors to get great results!

You also have the option to get this set with inks as a bundle for a discounted price:

Here is the layering guide:

The layout I’m bringing you today showcases these flowers combined in one big cluster:

As I always do, I started by stamping lots of images. I know a lot of people like when I list the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks I use, so here it is. The colors are listed in the order they were used for the layers:
  • Peach Perfect, Coral Bliss, Purple Wine, Citrus Burst, Mango Smoothie, Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee, Pinkalicious, Mocha, Permanent Black Ink.
  • Frosty Pink, Pinkalicious, Purple Wine, Citrus Burst, Mango Smoothie, Warm Sunshine, Caramel Toffee, Pinkalicious, Mocha, Permanent Black Ink.
  • Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen.

To create the layout, I adhered five strips of the pink wood grain washi tape that comes in the Our Family Collection to a white textured cardstock. I used that as my guide to layer the flowers. I love the idea of lilies surrounding the photo.

I added a few pieces of patterned papers behind the photo, as well as a sticker frame and a tag from the Reflection Collection. I mounted everything on foam adhesive to give it dimension.

I finished the layout with some wood veneer origami birds and lots of enamel dots.
