  • In addition to the main giveaway, I’ll also draw a winner to receive a $30 gift certificate to the Altenew store.

Now onto my project. I have been making lots of shaker tags lately. They are so much fun, and very festive, perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

What I love about the new December To Remember stamp set is that is very versatile and can be used on scrapbook pages, as well as cards, gift wrapping, home decor projects, etc. The possibilities are endless.

4x6 December to Remember

I started by heat-embossing the sentiments onto patterned paper from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. I used the new Altenew Embossing Ink and Pure White Embossing Powder. I then backed my panel with white cardstock and cut it into a tag shape. I created the window for my shaker with the Night Before Christmas tree die, which I also used to cut the foam that went in between the layers. Finally, I cut a star with the Halftone Stars Nesting die set and made it shiny with a clear Wink of Stella brush pen.

To finish off the tag, I stamped a banner from the Wood Pallet Background and added a sentiment from the Night Before Christmas stamp set. Everything was heat-embossed with Antique Silver embossing powder.

  1. Love the shaker tag just beautiful. Thanks for the tip of using your sentiments as the focal point and making your own type of paper to work with and put your project together. That really helps to make your stash go further. Thanks for the inspiration, take care Kari Villebrun

  4. This is a fabulous tag that you created with the new set, December to Remember. At first, I thought it was patterned paper because it looked so fabulous! I love how you used the Christmas tree die in your design, also!
