This kit is absolutely beautiful, featuring the Indigo Hills collection by Pink Fresh Studio. The colors are stunning, and the patterned papers are just perfect.

I was inspired by the “Moorland” paper in the collection for my layout.

I wanted to showcase the flowers as much as possible, so I thought to use the exclusive flairs included in the kit to add more texture and dimension to the bottom portion of my layout.

These little flowers are very easy to make. I used my tape runner to make the back of the flair sticky and then weaved the twine back and forth in a diagonal until the whole flower was completed. I left some extra twine hanging to give it the look of a stem. I love finding new ways to use different products. This is a really fun technique. Give it a try! You’ll be surprised at how quick and easy these little flowers come together 🙂

To balance the heavy bottom portion of the layout, I layered some of the exclusive 3×4 and 4×4 cards included in the kit behind my photo and fussy cut some of the leaves and flowers out of the “Hillside” patterned paper.

I finally added the same color twine I used for one of the flowers up at the top of the page, in order to create some repetition and make the layout more cohesive.

I hope you got inspired to create with your October kit. If you are not a subscriber, give it a try! You will not regret it! The kits are beautiful and packed with the most amazing products.

Please be sure to leave comments on each blog posts to be entered into a drawing to win an October kit of your own!

Thank you for visiting! Have a great day!
