Now onto the projects I created for this release. I have a layout and a card to share with you.

For the layout, I used the Cross Stitch Flower stamp set and coordinating dies, and the Mandala die.

I started by stamping all the flowers that compose my wreath. I wanted it to be colorful, but also soft at the same time. Here are the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks I used:

  • Coral flowers: Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry.
  • Yellow flowers: Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow, Honey Drizzle.
  • Purple flowers: Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Midnight Violet, Deep Iris.
  • Stems: Just Green, Hunter Green.

With the coordinating die I created the cross-stitch pattern, but decided to only cross-stitch the darker area of the flowers, closer to the stem. I then fussy-cut the images, which I arranged in a circular shape to form the wreath.

Once all the flowers were in place, I decided to fill the center with the Mandala die design. To give it some color, I backed it with cardstock that I had previously watercolored in a warm coral shade.

The rest was just a matter of arranging photo and embellishments onto the page. I added layers of patterned paper behind the picture, and chipboard stickers from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. The wood veneer origami birds are also part of the same collection.

For the butterflies, I stamped them with the Painted Butterflies set and fussy-cut them. I chose colors that coordinated with the rest of the shades on the page. Black splatters finished the layout.

The second project features the new Cross Stitch Canvas Die. So many possibilities with this one. I decided to stick to the traditional cross-stitch design and create rows of different colors.

The top and bottom sections of the card have a pattern of smaller and bigger stitches, while the center keeps the same simple design. Since the background is the focus of this card, I simply added the Thinking of You sentiment, which is also an Altenew craft die that you can find in the store. I left a few rows empty to break the continuity of the pattern.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Don’t forget to leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win gift certificates to the store. Your next stop is Heidi Jakobs‘ blog.

Have a lovely day!

I’m so excite to be part of this hop. The new products are absolutely lovely. New embossing powders, clear embossing ink,  and a gorgeous scrapbook collection are being released today!

The Our Family Scrapbook Collection is right on trend with fresh colors, watercolored elements, geometric designs, and florals (of course!). The papers and embellishments have been designed to help you document your precious family memories, but are versatile enough to use on any layout, journal, or card project.

The kit contains:

36 Sheets of 12″x12″ patterned paper (2 of each design)

One 3″x4″ photopolymer stamp set

12 3″x4″ watercolor journaling cards

One 8.5″x11″ sheet of 20 cardstock stickers

One 8.5″x11″ sheet of 15 cardstock die cuts

One 8.5″x11″ sheet of 16 chipboard stickers

Two 6″x12″ sheets of chipboard alphabet stickers

One 5″x6″ sheet of 17 adhesive wood veneers

One 4″x6″ sheet of adhesive enamel dots

One metal die (approx. 3.5″x4.5″)

One roll of washi tape (15mm x 10m)

My layout for today features one of the beautiful watercolor florals included in this amazing kit.

I love fussy-cutting images to give them a new look, and that’s exactly what I did here. I wanted the floral piece to be the focus, so I created two main clusters to fill the the page from top to bottom. I adhered them down with foam dots for extra dimension. The lovely background I used is also part of the new scrapbook kit.

The picture fits right in beetween the clusters. I embellished it with some tags and a die cut from the kit, as well as the gorgeous pink wood grain washi tape that is such a nice addition to this collection.

I finished the layout with chipboard alphabet stickers that I used for my title, some wood veneers, and enamel dots.

I can’t say enough how much I love this collection. It is definitely a must-have. Your next stop is Laurie Schmidlin‘s blog. Don’t forget to comment along for a chance to win.

Thank you for stopping by.

Enza Gudor —You Are Here—

The layout I am sharing today is meant to celebrate one of those friendships I mentioned above. I have been crafting for a long time, but only started sharing on social media a couple of years ago. I can say I was not expecting all the love and support I received from this community, and surely I never believed I could find thoughtful and caring friends who would make me feel so special. I received the gorgeous birthday card you see on the page from my dear friend Zsoka, who is truly an inspiration, not only for her outstanding crafting abilities, but also for her generosity and big heart.

I started this layout with a butterfly cut file from the Silhouette store. I modified it a little to adapt it to what I had in mind. I cut it several times from patterned paper and vellum, as I wanted to create more dimensional butterflies. I love the look of the butterflies flying off the page.

I secured the cut files with a little bit of stitching, and used foam dots to raise the bottom layer.

All the patterned papers you see here are included in the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. The sentiments come from the Halftone Circles and Extra Special stamp sets. I heat-embossed them with Altenew Translucent Pearl embossing powder.

I finished the layout off with wood veneers, enamel dots, and paint splatters in matching colors.

Thank you for visiting. Your next stop is Nina-Marie Trapani. Don’t forget to comment for a chance to win one of the many amazing prizes.
