Hello everyone, and welcome to the Altenew April 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil/Paper Pack Release Blog Hop + Giveaway.
You should have arrived from Susan Wymer‘s blog. Here is the full list for your convenience:
Enza Gudor —You are here—
Today I’m bringing you a new layout featuring the Rose Spray Stamp Set and coordinating dies.
Like always, I started by stamping multiple images with a variety of colors. I chose Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss and Heart Beat for the red roses, Volcano Lake, Lagoon and Emerald for the teal ones, Just Green and Hunter Green for some of the leaves and Evening Gray and Moon Rock for others. Since my favorite technique is layering, I like to have many die cuts that I can use to create dimension and texture by grouping them into clusters.
For my background, I adhered Dotted Washi Tape to white cardstock that I had previously trimmed to measure 11” square. I only covered the top half, as I wanted to bring in a fun and unexpected element. I then matted it with a pretty aqua cardstock that kind of matched the color of the teal roses.
I hid the line between the washi tape and the cardstock with roses and leaves, alternating colors and using foam dots to adhere them in place. I arranged the photo in the middle and added two sentiments from the Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection, while the additional wooden embellishments come from the Sweet Hearts Adhesive Wood Veener pack.
Paint splatters in coordinating colors finished the layout.
Now onto the prizes!!! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 4/22/2019 for a chance to win.

Your next stop is Cali‘s blog. Happy hopping!
Beautiful layout and I love the splatter of dots at the bottom! It is a surprise element versus the more uniform dots at the top. Using the flowers to cover up where the tape meets the paper is such a wonderful idea.

More and more I’m coming to realize how much I enjoy brightly colored florals around a black and white pictures. I especially like how you incorporated some grey leaves to create a transition between the colors and the black and white washi and photo. Thanks for a lovely idea!
