Here is the layout I created for this hop:

I started by stamping the floral image included in the Best Mom stamp set four times on smooth white card stock. I varied the position of the stamp to create two main clusters on opposite corners of the page. The Christmas colors in the picture called for reds and greens. The new Artist Markers Set C has the perfect shades of red, which I combined with the R318 included in Set A.

As you can see in the pictures, the flowers have different shading. Some are darker in the middle and lighter on the petals, others have darker tips and lighter centers. I thought it would be fun to vary the look a little bit. The greens I used are from the previously released Set A.

Next, I built a few layers behind my picture. All the patterned paper, as well as the heart wood veneers, are from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection. I used one of the red markers (R217) to color the wooden hearts and make them match the other colors on the page.

The title comes from one of the words included in the Holiday Script Words Die set. I cut it three times and adhered the layers together to make it thicker. All the other die cuts on the page are cut files from my stash.

I finished the layout with pearlescent Liquid Pearls, as well as Wink Of Stella glitter pen.

These markers are fantastic. They blend easily, and the colors are rich and vibrant.
