Hello there, friends. I have a new layout to share with you today. This one is for The Cut Shoppe and it features the new gorgeous Ain’t Life Grand collection designed by Ashley Horton. I’m a sucker for florals and bright colors. This collection has quickly become one of my favorites.
I decided to use one of the cut files included in the Girl Stuff set. It worked perfectly as a title for my page.
To begin, I slightly modified the cut file by creating an outline. My original idea was to back it with different patterned papers from the collection, but then I decided to cut out the letters and adhere them on top of it with foam dots. This easy step added quite a bit of dimension and made colors and patterns stand out more.
I also hand-stitched some of the letters, while for others I decided to follow the pattern and just added some touches of colored thread here and there.
The floral pieces in the collection were perfect to embellish my whole layout. I layered some around the title, some behind the pictures. The ‘Everyday’ sentiment, my journaling and some enamel dots finished the layout.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day!
