Hello, Altenew fans. Enza here, and today I’m sharing a new layout featuring the incredible Our Family Scrapbook Collection. The floral pieces in this kit are to die for. So, so beautiful!
I wanted to incorporate as many colors as possible, and make the bouquets that come in the Sticker Sheet the focus of my page. I started with a floral cut file to use as a base layer. I love that the background paper peeks through the cut file, that’s why I decided not to back it with patterned paper.
Next, I placed the floral stickers on opposite sides of the photo and adhered them down with foam adhesive for dimension. I also created a third cluster in the top left corner of the photo. I find that it continues the floral arrangement and makes it look more like a frame.
For the title, I used the Alpha Chipboard Stickers to spell “My little sunshine”. I added some foliage, that I fussy cut from one of the patterned papers included in the Collection, in between the letters to bring in the same elements and achieve a cohesive look. Enamel dots in coordinating colors and black splatters finished the layout.
I hope you have enjoyed reading about my process today. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a lovely day!
Hello friends! Altenew is one of the sponsors of the 7th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely. Today the designers are sharing some beautiful projects on the Altenew blog, as well as Tracey’s blog. There is a chance to win some awesome prizes, so you may want to check them out.
I decided to create shaped shaker tags for today’s hop.
For the bigger tag, I used a nesting star die set from my stash to create the window. I cut it six times out of textured white card stock. After adhering all the layers together, I backed the star with some patterned paper from the Altenew Our Family Scrapbook Collection, filled it up with colorful sequins, and finished it with a piece of acetate on top. The Holiday Script Words Die set was perfect to add the sentiment. Again, I cut it several times and glued the layers together before heat-embossing it with Altenew Translucent Pearl embossing powder.
I replicated the same idea for my second tag. This time, I used the Altenew Halftone Stars Nesting Die set for the window, as well as patterned papers from the same Scrapbook Collection. The sentiment is included in the Night Before Christmas Die set.
I hope you have found some inspiration today. Don’t forget to visit Tracey’s blog to learn more about this event. Thank you for stopping by!
