This new release is stunning! I love every single product, and I’m very excited to share my layout with you today. I chose the Simply The Best Stamp Set with coordinating dies. The size of the flowers is perfect for a 12×12 scrapbook layout.

I started by stamping the flowers with a variety of Altenew Crisp Dye Inks:

  • pink flowers: Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Razzleberry;
  • orange flowers: Vanilla Cream, Orange Cream, Firebrick;
  • purple flowers: Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Andromeda.

I then cut them with the coordinating dies – the die set includes not only a die for the large flower, but also one for the smaller flower and one for the center, allowing you to build several layers and unique clusters.

I added a floral cut file to the background before arranging all the other elements. This is something I often do, as it brings in an extra layer of interest and softens the look of the page.

I created three clusters, two on opposite corners of the photo and one in the top right area. Everything was adhered down with foam dots.

Last but not least, the sentiments. They come in the same set and are lovely. I stamped three of them on smooth white cardstock and shaped them in a banner shape before adhering them down. A wooden button, orange foliage, and several die cuts from the Live Your Dream collection finished the layout.

Now onto the prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 8/14/2019 for a chance to win.

We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $20 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 8/17/2019.

This is such an amazing release – not only stamp sets and dies, but also stencils and a brand new stamping mat!

You know how much a love flowers, especially Altenew designs, so I couldn’t pass on the Charming Doodles Stamp Set.

The dainty look of this set caught my eye; what I love is the variety of shapes and sizes that allow you to create an interesting and dreamy background.

Here is the layout I created with it; very simple but also delicate and pretty. The doodles in this stamp set are beautiful!

I started by stamping my images on smooth white cardstock. I used the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Chamomile, Sunray, Marigold, Snapdragon, Crimson, Baby Pink, Just Green, and the brand new Obsidian Pigment Ink.

I then created a big cluster on which I placed my photo. I used foam dots to give dimension and layer all my elements. The sentiments are from the Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection.

I also added some of the stamped images along the right side of the page, just to complete the look. Easy peasy!
