Pinkfresh Studio April Essentials Release Blog Hop

Hello there, PF fans! I’m so excited to be part of the Pinkfresh Studio April Essentials Release Blog Hop. So many new, amazing stand alone dies that every crafter needs in their stash.

You should have arrived from the super talented Emily Midgett‘s blog.

Today I’m sharing four cards created with some of the sets. I had a lot of fun playing with them.

The first pair features the Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles. Both cards have a simple design, enhanced by the pretty floral bouquets of the Fancy Blooms Stamp Set and the new Pinkfresh paper collections.

For the first card, I used the bigger scallop circle to create an opening in the center of my 4”x5.25” panel, which I had trimmed from the Being Us paper in the Joyful Day collection.

I backed the opening with the True Story patterned paper and added tiny sequins all around the circle for a bit of sparkle. I adhered the card panel to the base with foam adhesive, but not before wrapping twine around the top portion of it. Next, I added the bouquet from the Fancy Blooms Set I had previously colored with alcohol markers, and the sentiment, which comes in the Classic Words Die Set – another amazing product from this release!

The second card features the smaller circle.

Here I used the die to cut three circles (one of which got covered by the bouquet) in the card panel and created a shaker with the same sequins I used for the first card. I adhered the big bouquet with foam dots for dimension, and added the word “love” from theClassic Words set. To make the sentiment stand out more, I cut it from both white and black cardstock, and glued it slightly offset to create a shadow.

The next set of cards features the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles and the Classic Edgers.

For the first card, I simply cut the rectangles from different patterned papers and stacked them together using foam adhesive. For the center, I created a dimensional piece by layering the inside of the big stitched scallop circle, the small circle cut from white cardstock, and the Best Wishes sentiment. Sequins around the edge of the small circle finished the card.

For the second card, I cut the first layer from pink cardstock and used one of the Classic Edgers to shape the right side. I then added two layers of patterned paper, making sure to reduce the width just 1/8” on each side, so to show the papers underneath. I completed the card with Puffy Stickers from the Joyful Day collection, sequins, the Beautiful sentiment from the Classic Words set, and an additional sentiment from the Ephemera Pack.

Now onto the prizes! To celebrate this release, Pinkfresh is giving away the full April Essentials release on their blog and IG feed.

I will also be giving away a $25 gift card to their store.

The winner will be picked randomly on Sunday, April 14th and will be posted on the Pinkfresh Studio GIVEAWAY PAGE. Make sure you check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks.

  3. Lovely cards. Great use of the products-especially the negative space from the big scalloped circle. I like how you used it to frame the smaller circle. It reminds me of a sun. Love that shaker!
