Pinkfresh Studio 5th Birthday Blog Hop Celebration

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio 5th Birthday Blog Hop Celebration. I’m so excited to be part of this huge milestone. I love Pinkfresh and all its gorgeous products! As always, we have great prizes and special discounts. Make sure you check the bottom of my post and leave a comment for a chance to win.

You should have arrived from Laurie Willison‘s blog.

The project I’m sharing today uses one of my favorite collections: Everyday Musings. The colors are just so beautiful, and the patterns fun and unique.

I started by adhering a wide strip of patterned paper vertically to my background. I used the Time For Fun and Good Times papers, while to create a border along the edges, I tucked two thin strips from the Present And Perfect paper underneath. The cut file by Anett Gelencsér, that you can find here, worked perfectly for this page and gave it just that soft look I was going for. I opted to not back it with patterned paper, as I wanted the pretty background to show.

Next, I matted my photo and added lots of beautiful embellishments from the Ephemera Pack around it; flowers, potted plants and sentiments frame the photo and bring in a fun and delicate element.

To balance the top left side, I added a cluster of embellishments in the opposite corner. Here I used the same flowers and plants, but also added three frames and a sentiment.

To finish the layout, I arranged the title at the bottom of the page and splattered some black paint here and there.

Now onto the prizes! There will be three Grand Prizes picked from the Pinkfresh blog: Liquid Watercolor full set, Set of the 3 current paper collections, and the entire April Essentials die release (which will go live on April 8th).

I’ll also give away a $25 gift card!

The winners will be posted on Sunday, April 14th on the Pinkfresh Studio GIVEAWAY PAGE. Please check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks.

In addition to the prizes, there are two shopping promos during the celebration:

  • a free die (XO word) with purchase. There is no code necessary, and the die will automatically load into your cart while supplies last.

  • free/discounted shipping from April 5-7th on orders $25+. You must use the code FREESHIP5THBDAY. Shipping is free in the USA, and $5.50 off for our International friends.

Your next stop is Alix Davis‘ blog. Happy hopping!
