Altenew – Paper Pack Highlight: Verdant Walk

Hello, Altenew fans! Enza here to share a new layout featuring the brand new Verdant Walk 6×6 Paper Pack.

What I love about this combination of papers is the contrast between light and darker shades – pinks and blues soften the more vibrant greens and yellow, making this set versatile and fun!

For my layout today, I wanted to include most of the patterned papers and showcase how well they work together. What better way to do it than with a layered die set, such as the Peony Dream 3D?

Let’s see how it came together!

I started by spraying the background with my go-to Altenew Shimmer Ink Spray: Frosty Pink, which added just the right amount of color and interest. While that was drying, I die cut the peonies from a variety of patterned paper – mixing pinks and greens, with touches of yellow. I used foam dots to adhere some of the layers together to create dimension.

I decided to arrange the flowers in a semi-circle kind of shape towards the left side of the page. To make them look a bit more realistic, I slightly curved the petals inward.

I then worked on building layers behind the photo with tags and flowers that I fussy cut from other patterned papers in the Verdant Walk Paper Pack.

To balance the page, I also added a strip of paper that included all the patterns in the set on the opposite side of the flower cluster.

For the title, I used the Bold Alphabet Die Set, which helped me incorporate more of the colors and bring all the elements together.

Black splatters finished the layout.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you’ll feel inspired to create your next project with the beautiful Verdant Walk Paper Pack.
