Pink Paislee – Fussy Cutting: A Set Of Cards

Hi there, friends! I have a new set of cards to share, using the gorgeous Whimsical collection by Pink Paislee.

What these cards have in common is a lot of fussy cut elements. From tags to banners to frames, all you need is patterned paper!

For the first card, I used two tags that I fussy cut out of Paper 01, which also includes sentiments and other embellishments.

After choosing the paper for my card panel, I adhered two strips of washi tape from the #StickerBook across the middle, just to give it a bit more interest. I layered two tags and a frame from the same cut apart sheet and mounted everything on foam adhesive for dimension. A beautiful floral die cut and heart enamel dots finished the card.

The second card used the sentiments banners in Paper 08.

Again, I fussy cut them, making sure to pick the ones that made more sense for a card. I adhered them onto white cardstock, on which I used a faux stitch border die to give it a more finished look. Next, I arranged a flower and some leaves from the ephemera pack in the center of the card. Here to add more interest, instead of adding washi tape, I wrapped natural twine around the card panel before adhering the prepared sentiments on top.

I hope you like these simple cards. Take out your scissors and start fussy cutting all the things! It’s fun! 🙂
