Hello everyone, and welcome to the Altenew November 2018 Stencil/Ink Spray Release Blog Hop + Giveaway.
You should have arrived from Vicki‘s blog. Here is the full list for your convenience:
Enza Gudor — You are here —
The layout I’m sharing today features the gorgeous Flowing Butterfly Stencil and the new Puffy Heart Shimmer Ink Spray.
I knew I wanted to use the stencil in two different ways. First, I sprayed the Puffy Heart Ink all over the stencil, which I had positioned on smooth white cardstock – I only spritzed it a couple of times moving my hand from left to right, as I didn’t want to over saturate the paper. I then fussy cut around the images once dry.
For the second technique, I mixed the same color ink spray with modeling paste, and spread it in a thin layer over the butterflies directly on my background paper.
I love the two different textures! It also amazes me how the same color spray can generate two different tones depending on the technique you’re using!
I arranged the fussy butterflies around the ones created with modeling paste, and left space for my photos, which I mounted on foam adhesive for dimension.
To bring in more colors and make the design pop, I adhered a strip of Rainbow Stripes Washi Tape on the left side of the page, and stamped a few sentiment from the Extra Special Stamp Set repeatedly on the edge of it.
As a final touch, I added a few splatters of Puffy Heart and Jet Black Ink Sprays to the background for color and more of a mixed media look.
Now onto the prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 12/3/2018 for a chance to win. 6 winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 12/7/2018.
Thank you for stopping by today. Your next stop is Laurie‘s blog. Happy hopping!
This layout is so pretty and lighthearted and fun. It is a breath of fresh air and love the butterflies!

Wow, I love the different textures you created. I would have thought the ink spray would make the modeling paste shinier, so it’s really good to know that you can also get that more matte look as well as the standard sparkle. Thanks for sharing with us!

Awesome looking layout! If I had not already known I would not have not been able to tell the butterfly’s were made from the same color, very cool and the texture beautiful between the two. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration. (mardy14@bellsouth.net)
