Hello there, my crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a new layout that I made using the new Jen Hadfield/Pebbles Banner Punch Board! This tool is a must-have in your craft room. It is not only pink and pretty, but also so useful for a variety of projects; from party banners to cards and scrapbook layouts, the possibilities are endless. You can make pennant, flag, and crest banners, measuring between 1 inch and 8-1/2 inches!
Here is the layout, for which I also used Jen Hadfield’s My Bright Life collection:
I started by cutting flag and pennant banners in various sizes out of patterned paper. I picked colors that coordinated with the ones in the photo, so beautiful pinks, greens, and floral patterns. I arranged them in the center of the page, alternating the shapes for more interest – I love the patchwork look of it!
To adhere the individual flags, I used foam adhesive, which helped me achieve lots of dimension.
Once I had all the banners down, I continued building my layers around the photo. I used lots of ephemera pieces, foam gold hearts and sentiments, and a 3×4 card from the cut-apart sheet that also served as my title. Enamel dots in coordinating colors finished the layout.
I had a lot of fun using this Banner Punch Board and highly recommend it!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
