Hello crafty friends! Here’s a new layout created with the stunning Whimsical collection by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee. This time I didn’t use any cut files, but a mix of fussy cut elements and rub-ons that made my page very colorful and happy.
I started by cutting the hexagon patterned paper (Paper 05) to cover a portion of my background – I love that this paper incorporates all the colors in the collection in a fun and unique way. After adhering the two fussy cut pieces down, I created several layers behind my photo with patterned paper and a green frame from Paper 07. To give it dimension I mounted it on foam adhesive.
The cut apart sheet includes pretty tags that are perfect for adding dimension and details to your projects. Here I lined them up to bring in more of the beautiful colors and patterns. I also liked that I could use twine, which always adds so much texture!
Once everything was in place, I continued on with the embellishments. I fussy cut some of the beautiful flowers and arranged them behind the tags. I did the same with the title and other elements on the page. Again, foam adhesive is what makes this page very dimensional.
As a finishing touch, I used a few rub-ons here and there. The cross-stitched ones are my favorite when it comes to adding extra detail and interest to the page.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope this layout has inspired you to use the colorful Whimsical collection for your next project.
