This is such a beautiful, cheerful release, full of goodies that are perfect for the upcoming Holiday season. I created a Christmas layout with the following stamp sets and coordinating dies: Holiday Bow, and Christmas Stockings.
All the different elements in these sets can be easily combined to form the rich and full garland you see on the page. The big bow inspired the whole layout.
As you may know, all Altenew 6×8 and 4×6 stamp sets come with tri-fold insert cards showcasing lots of added inspiration, project ideas, printed layering guides, and other useful information. I especially love the color combinations they provide, as it saves a lot of time when it comes to choosing which shades to use. I went with the colors in the Holiday Bow Stamp Set insert for my images today.
I arranged the die cut bows, sprigs, and poinsettias in the center of the page to form the garland. Everything was adhered down with foam dots for dimension. I then went on stamping the stockings with the Christmas Stockings Stamp Set. This set is super fun; you have the option to use a solid color for your stockings, or the variety of designs and patterns that are included in the set.
Once the garland was finished, I simply added the photos above it and the title in the bottom right corner.
The “Merry” die cut came from the Holiday Script Words Die. I cut it a few times, and adhered the layers together for a sturdy title. To color it, I used a blend of Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades.
