Hello, crafty friends! Have you checked out Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for September? It features a set of six dies that are perfect for Halloween and Fall themed cards, decor, and more.
If you are not aware of this amazing membership deal, you want to check it out! Spellbinders offers two types of monthly memberships, one for small dies and one for large ones, which include not only the cutting dies (of course), but also project inspiration and several benefits, such as discounts and gifts.
My project for today is a Halloween layout created with three of the six dies. I love how it turned out!
I started by die cutting the images out of 3×3 inch square cardstock and patterned paper. I wanted them to be shiny, but was out of glitter paper, so I decided to heat-emboss them with Altenew Translucent Crisp Embossing Powder, which gave me just the right amount of sparkle. I then used patterned paper and vellum to back them and create lots of layers. The edges of each layer have a distressed look for added spookiness 😉
Next, I did the same with the photos. I trimmed them to measure about the same size of the die cuts, and added several layers behind them.
I arranged all the square images on the left side of the page to create a big cluster, and embellished them with lots of die cuts, stickers, and fussy cut floral images from the Pink Paislee Spellcast collection. Everything was adhered down with foam adhesive for dimension.
This layout came together pretty quickly. The size of these amazing dies made it easy to create a focal point for my Halloween photos.
I hope you have found some inspiration in my project today. Make sure to check out the Spellbinders website to read about the memberships options and have amazing dies shipped to your door every month for a very convenient price.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
