I have two projects to share with you today. The first one is a layout created with the gorgeous Floral Art Stamp Set. The layers in these flowers are fantastic, and allow for a different color combinations.

I started by stamping the flowers with some of my favorite Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Frosty Pink, Pinkalicious, and Cosmic Berry, while for the leaves I used Evening Gray, and Lava Rock. The composition of this layout is very simple; the stamped images are the focus, so I decided to add very little embellishments.

I adhered a frame cut file to a blue watercolor paper from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection, and created a big cluster of flowers and leaves in the bottom left corner of the page. The photo, which was backed with layers of coordinating papers from the same scrapbook collection, sits right on top of it.

To balance the layout, I added more flowers in the opposite corner. Everything was adhered down with foam dots for dimension.

For the title, I used the Mega Happy Die. I cut it twice, from both gray and black cardstock, to create separation from the background and make it stand out more.

The second project features the Inked Flora Stamp Set.

I decorated two kraft bags with several images from the set. For the first one, I heat-embossed the leaves with Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder all over the front of the bag. The flower and the leaves were also heat-embossed, but this time onto patterned papers from the Reflection Collection.

I then stamped the sentiment on smooth white cardstock and cut it into a banner shape before tying it to the flower with twine. I finished the bag with a black and white striped ribbon across the bottom.

I used the same color scheme for the second gift bag. This time I created a cluster of leaves, and just added sentiments, some black splatters and enamel dots, and the same ribbon across the bottom.

Now onto the giveaway part! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by Wednesday, August 22nd for a chance to win. 6 winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 8/26/2018.
