My layout for today features the super pretty Ditsy Print Stamp Set and coordinating die:
I started by stamping lots of bouquets with the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks:
- Flowers: Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, and Purple Wine.
- Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen, and Sweet Leaf.
I love the dainty look of the little flowers, so I decided to keep the delicate and pretty motif going throughout the page.
I chose a white background and tried different arrangements before settling on a circular shape. To bring in an extra element of interest and fill the empty spot in the middle, I opted to use the Mandala Die to cut a coordinating patterned paper from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection. I backed the whole die-cut with vellum and used the paper-piecing technique to fill some of the spots with a light yellow paper from the Reflection Collection.
For the photo, I just matted it with patterned paper and adhered it down with foam adhesive to give it dimension. The flower cluster on the left side is a sticker from the Our Family Collection, while for the title I used a sentiment from the Super Script Scrapbook Stamp Set, which was heat-embossed with Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.
To finish the layout, I created a bow with the same yellow patterned paper I used for the Mandala die-cut and placed it in the top left corner of the picture. I also added lots of White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops all around the wreath. I know they are difficult to see in the pictures, but in real life you can really see the touch of shine they add.
Now the fun part! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by Wednesday, June 20th for a chance to win. 6 winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 6/24/2018.
I’ll also draw a winner to receive a $30 gift certificate from all the comments left on my blog.
Your next stop is Agnieszka Malyszek‘s blog. Happy hopping!
