The layout I am sharing today features two delicate and beautiful stamp sets: Happy Heart and Dream Big.

I decided to go for an ombre look and incorporate several shades of pink. I started by heat-embossing most of the images onto solid cardstock with Altenew Embossing Ink and Pure White Embossing Powder. I opted to use Golden Peach Embossing Powder on the lightest colored cardstock to bring in some variety and add more interest to the page.

For the background, I kept a tone-on-tone look by adhering a grid cut file onto the same color cardstock. The cut file also helped with the placement of the flowers, which were grouped in clusters. I then stamped and heat-embossed a few leaves onto gray cardstock so to create more layers in between the flowers. I have always loved the pink/gray combo! So soft and sophisticated.

I tucked the photo under four clusters, keeping the embellishments to a minimum, and just added the “You make my heart happy” sentiment from the same stamp set and the “Sweet” sentiment from the Folksy Florals set, which is also part of this new release.

To finish the layout, I adhered a few butterflies from the Dream Big stamp set onto the flowers. Again, I heat-emboss them with Golden Peach Embossing Powder and tried to match the shading to the colors of the flowers I was going to put them on.
