Pink Paislee – Confetti Wishes: A Birthday Layout

Hello, friends! We are starting a new week with some more inspiration with the new Confetti Wishes collection. I’m in love with its bold, vibrant colors and exotic elements. It is the perfect collection to document your birthday memories.

When I think of birthdays, I think of cupcakes. As I wanted to showcase the colors in the collection and incorporate as many patterns as possible, I decided to start with a cupcakes cut file by Paige Evans (ID #239734), that I backed with several patterned papers. I varied the size of the cut file to bring in some movement, and staggered the cut shapes towards the left side of the page. I used foam adhesive to adhere some of them down, while the others were glued directly onto the page. The 6×6 Paper Pad was all I needed for this.

I also backed the photos with colorful papers, repeating more of the same tones on the opposite side of the page. I used the cute little chipboard presents to form a cluster of embellishments. You can also see some of the die-cut flowers peeking from behind.

I formed another small cluster with three banners that I tied together with some twine, while right across from it I placed three little balloons and repeated the twine element.

The gold foam Phrase Stickers work very well as a title. The “Hooray” sentiment was the perfect size for me here.

To bring in a pop of green, I placed big tropical leaves in three different spots on the page. The gold foam dots/confetti finished the layout. I hope you are enjoying all the projects we have been sharing and will feel inspired to pick up this collection to document your birthday memories. Until next time!
