Altenew – Frosted Garden Layout

Happy New Year, friends! This is Enza, and today I’m sharing a colorful and flowery layout featuring the gorgeous Frosted Garden stamp set. My main inspiration came from the striped patterned paper in the Our Family Scrapbook Collection. I loved that the colors coordinated perfectly with the photo I wanted to use. Everything is so soft and dreamy!

I started by stamping the flowers onto another patterned paper that features splashes of watercolor paint in pink, blue, and purple tones. My goal was to create a tone-on-tone look by matching the color of the flowers to some of the stripes. To bring in more sparkle, I decided to heat-emboss the images with Platinum and Rose Gold embossing powders.

Once I had everything in place, I felt like I needed to add more elements to fill in the empty spaces. I then stamped a few flowers and leaves on white card stock with the following Altenew Crisp Inks: Puffy Heart, Soft Lilac, and Sea Glass. All the stamped images were cut with the coordinating dies and arranged to achieve a cohesive look.

I backed my photo with some patterened paper before adhering it down, and embellished it with wood veneer hearts, a tag, and the “love” chipboard sticker that come in the collection. I also decided to stamp individual leaves here and there using the same Altenew Crisp Ink shades to accentuate the tone-on-tone look.

To finish the layout, I added some sentiments from the Sketchy Floral stamp set and enamel dots.

The Frosted Garden stamp set is so beautiful! Definitely a must-have!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
