Altenew – 25 Days Of Christmas Tags 2017

Hello friends! Altenew is one of the sponsors of the 7th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely. Today the designers are sharing some beautiful projects on the Altenew blog, as well as Tracey’s blog. There is a chance to win some awesome prizes, so you may want to check them out.

I decided to create shaped shaker tags for today’s hop.

For the bigger tag, I used a nesting star die set from my stash to create the window. I cut it six times out of textured white card stock. After adhering all the layers together, I backed the star with some patterned paper from the Altenew Our Family Scrapbook Collection, filled it up with colorful sequins, and finished it with a piece of acetate on top. The Holiday Script Words Die set was perfect to add the sentiment. Again, I cut it several times and glued the layers together before heat-embossing it with Altenew Translucent Pearl embossing powder.

I replicated the same idea for my second tag. This time, I used the Altenew Halftone Stars Nesting Die set for the window, as well as patterned papers from the same Scrapbook Collection. The sentiment is included in the Night Before Christmas Die set.
