The main inspiration for the layout above was a floral cut file, that I just backed with beautiful papers from the Reflection Collection. I love the watercolor effect!
For my new page, I decided to use the Build-A-Flower: Coral Charm stamp set and coordinating dies to create my own embellishments. The main clusters include layers of colorful flowers and leaves, some of which were adhered down with foam dots to achieve dimension and a more natural look. I heat-embossed all the images with Altenew Crystal Clear embossing powder for a shiny effect. The leaves were stamped with a variety of Crisp Inks. I used the following colors: Evening Gray, Lava Rock, Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen.
I also stamped the delicate tiny flowers that come in the same stamp set behind the clusters. I wanted it to be a subtle but still noticeable addition, so I used the Altenew Crisp Ink in Evening Gray, which was perfect for it. As you can see in the pictures, I also layered the flowers with some vellum. The more layers the better!
