Altenew – Build-A-Flower: Ranunculus Set

Hello, friends! I’m back today to share a new project for the new Altenew Build-A-Flower: Ranunculus stamp and die set release. I absolutely love all the different layers, which can be used together or separately depending on the look you want to achieve on your projects.

Here is a look at my Traveler’s Notebook spread.

I used patterned papers from the Reflection Scrapbook collection to cover the pages, in order to make them thicker and more durable. The colors of the Ranunculus flowers were chosen based on those papers. I wanted something that matched but also kept the softness of the spread. I love how the lavender/purple shades of the Altenew Crisp Inks helped me achieve just that. The supplies I used are listed at the bottom of this post.

I have to admit, I’m not very good at layering stamps, but the We R Memory Keeper Precision Press works like magic. It is my favorite tool right now. I really recommend it if you, like me, want to try to get the perfect image 😉

Once I stamped and fussy cut the ranunculus and leaves, I layered them in the bottom left corner of my spread. I used foam dots to adhere the yellow flower on top of the purple one for extra dimension.

Several patterned papers from the Reflection Scrapbook collection were used to back the picture. I decided to keep the whole spread pretty simple, as I wanted my story to be the focus. The sentiment underneath the photo comes in the same stamp set and totally inspired the journaling about my little one, how her happy and outgoing personality brings joy to our lives.

The new Build-A-Flower: Ranunculus stamp set is just gorgeous. Visit the Altenew blog for more inspiration and a GIVEAWAY.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day!
