Paper Issues – Take 5 Tuesday

Hello, scrapbook friends!

Today I want to show you a layout I created for a new monthly challenge called Take 5 Tuesday over on the Paper Issues blog.  For this challenge we had to pick five items out of a list of 15 items to use on a paper project.

Here’s the list for January:
1. the color blue
2. the color green
3. the color orange
4. a snowman or snowflake
5. die cut
6. mist or paint
7. alpha stickers
8. flair badge or button
9. a tree
10. a circle
11. sequins
12. title
13. cardstock
14. hand written journaling
15. twine or string (this can be hand stitching, machine stitching, or just as an embellishment)

This is what I came up with:

5 for Tuesday - 2
I used cardstock, thread, ephemera pieces, mist, and a title.

Daydream - Close up 1

I love how the stitching adds interest and extra color to the page.

Daydream - Close up 2

It is also hard for me not to use a bunch of die cuts onto a page.  I think they add the right finishing touch to any project 🙂  I used the Crate Paper Craft Market collection and some pieces from the Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine collection on this layout.

If you want to see which items the other Design Team members picked and what they created, hop on over to the blog.  And if you need/want to purchase some supplies, don’t forget to use the code ENZA20 at checkout to get 20% off everything.
